After thirteen years in the United States Air Force Active Duty and six years in the IMA Air Force Reserves where he began his journey. Mr. Deadwiler learned from the actual experience and the true grind of what it means to hold ownership and responsibility of a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Through his love to move forward and genuine care for people around him he has sprouted the SLD-Group. A persuasive coach and leader, Mr. Deadwiler is always deftly at influencing and negotiating at the highest levels while extracting maximum value from project teams and all stakeholders while simultaneously focusing on building cross-organizational cohesion through positive directional leadership. Mr. Deadwiler is always a proven ethical advisor with unwavering integrity shown.

Alex D. Ballard
Chief Information Officer
Alex D. Ballard is the Vice Chief Information Officer at SLD Group. Ballard provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the Northeastern region. The primary responsibilities for this office encompass a wide variety of strategic technology issues: governance and policy, resource allocation, information technology protocols, and the delivery of IT infrastructure and services, information security systems and compliance, administrative systems, and client support services.
